The blue EMU illustrated below was offered for sale some years ago, and was the subject of much speculation at the time, not least that it was produced in New Zealand. Consesus seems to be that the blue EMU was made in Margate, UK as a pre production model, possibly in connection with a planned but never produced model to represent Victoria Railways, Australia.
