J C Models (or J-C, or JC) are believed to have been producing passenger car kits in various scales from 1939, scales H0, US 00 and 0. Kits comprise pressed (embossed) car sides with wood roofs and underframe detail. One of the few manufacturers to continue production through WWII, as their materials were not restricted. Post war, J C Models produced a range of 'Silver Side' cars, using stamped aluminium for car sides.
The three Southern RR heavyweight passenger cars illustrated below were built from All Nation, formerly JC Models, kits. Plastic trucks and wheels together with automatic couplers are fitted.
