Reference : Hubley
Hubley Manufacturing Company was formed by John Hubley in 1894 and producing die cast toys by 1909. Hubley was acquired by the Lido Toy Company in 1965, although the Hubley name continued even after Hubley was sold to Gabriel in 1969, and to CBS Toys in 1980. Hubley tooling was sold by CBS to Ertl, and models from original Hubley tooling were still being produced into the 1990s.
