East German manufacturer Zeuke and Wegworth produced a 2-6-2 Borsig streamlined steam locomotive during the 1950s, together with two 8 wheeled passenger cars, a 2nd/3rd class car and a Mitropa dining car, all made using Bakelite. Some time during the 1990s, Alexander Hoffmann produced a first class passenger car and a baggage car, both using the standard 2nd/3rd class passenger car as a base. How many cars of either type were made is unknown.
