
The Churchill Tank illustrated below was produced by Bassett Lowke circa 1946, on behalf of Vauxhall, builders of the full sized tank. Vauxhall presented the models to tank regiments, this particular model bearing a brass plaque which reads Presented To The Royal Army Ordnance Corps By Vauxhall Motors Ltd Luton. This model is 24 inches long, 9.5 inches wide and 8 inches tall, mounted on a base 29 by 15 inches. Several others are known, currently residing in museums.
