Coaches were offered in sets of three, with an All 3rd (or Baggage, French liveries) additional coach being available in most liveries. Various combinations of grey roof, white roof and clerestory roof.

The C4 LNER coaches comprised two sets of three, with three additional individual coaches. Cut out glazed windows, slots for Flying Scotsman name boards, Gresley compensated bogies. Black or clear window glazing. Working rear light on brake end.

The initial production run of C21 coaches in SR livery were incorrectly printed with yellow lining which should have been black, and were therefore rejected by Ace Trains.
