Although best known today for the smaller Matchbox series, Moko Lesney produced a range of larger models, some roughly 1/43 scale (Dinky size) and some larger, the first of the larger models being a road roller in 1948. Moko was Moses Kohnstam who undertook initial distribution and marketing on behalf of Lesney, the toys described as A Moko Lesney Product. Within a few years, Lesney was firmly established and purchased Moko, all future production being marketed as Lesney, without the Moko name.
