Thomas Holdsworth and Sons, trading as Holdson, was formed in 1939 as makers of wooden jigsaw puzzles, expanding during and after WWII to manufacture board games, greeting cards, children’s book publishing and picture framing. Today, trading as Holdson Limited, the company has expanded to include the importation and distribution of toys from overseas.
