There are online references to Flyde Manufacturing Co of St Anne's-on-Sea (Lytham St Annes), who were formed in 1947 and absorbed by JoHillCo c1950. There are also references to The Fylde Box Company of nearby Blackpool, who were in operation the same dates, prior to absortion by Cherilea. The Fylde Box Company were involved in the production of munitions during WWII.
