The company Konrad Dressler (KD) was formed in 1917, initially producing kitchen and household utensils, followed by toys from approximately 1922. Gauge 0 toy trains were introduced in 1946, with H0 models being launched ten years later. The gauge 0 system was withdrawn in 1962, and the company ceased trading in 1970.
Konrad Dressler manufactured a range of very attractive motor vehicles post war, all with a tinplate body and a friction drive motor, length approximately 6.3 inches.
