Troller Corporation

(Chicago, Illinois, USA)

Troller Corporation of Chicago produced a series of transformers/controllers in the 1970s/80s aimed at all scales. The TAC 2001 illustrated below was aimed at the AC powered 0 gauge market, the controller having two controlled outputs, each with whistle button, and a range of accessory outputs, up to 24v. The TAC2001 is particularly popular with those operating locos requiring lower voltages, such as some Marx, Williams and K-Line, the output being switchable between either 0-9v and 0-18v. Total maximum output is 150W.
