MPJB, MB Trains (Mike or Myke or Masher Barritt)

Michael Peter John Barritt 27th July 1949 - 16th May 2010

(Sheffield, UK)

There was far more to Mike Barritt that tin toys and model railways. Take a moment to read an affectionate tribute to musician and model engineer Mike Barritt at The Rawmarsh Mashers site.

Mike's models were constructed using whatever empty tin cans he could obtain, then hand painted and issued in home made boxes with hand drawn labels. One of the best collections of Mike's wagons may often been seen at shows, particularly in Scotland.

MPJB wagons. These are almost gauge 1 in size, but built to run on 0 gauge track. Perfectly suited to the larger Bowman locos.
