During the mid 2010s, several Meccano Anvils appeared for sale via well known auctions, all green, and all with a Meccano nameplate rivetted to one side. The general consensus among knowledgeable Meccano enthusiasts at the time suggested that, whilst well made, the anvils were not made by Meccano Ltd - but perhaps you know better?
