A brief introduction to the mechanical (clockwork) and electric motors used by Marx for 0 gauge trains. Although the basic motor changed little, the details differed, with combinations of motor fittings including sparklers, bells, side rods, wheels, pickups, key type, trucks, lights, smoke units, some changing as the motor was developed, others between top of the range models and cheaper products.
