Louis Marx Transformers, Controllers and related Electrical Devices

Just a few of the many transformers made by Marx, and issued either under their own name, or as Allstate, for Sears Roebuck. Marx made 110v transformers for home (USA) use, as well as 220v-240v units for export to, for example, the United Kingdom. Power ratings ranged from the modest 7W Hobby through 25W and 30W, to 50W, 75W and 100W, and the extremely useful 150W units, in addition to battery units, and DC controllers for the Marx H0 range. Later Marx transformers are marked UL approved (Underwriters Laboratory).
