Ludlows of Bolton (Kevin Ludlow) began his career in the domestic televion business, continuing until the 1990s when sales of video cassette recorders plummeted. He then turned to toy trains, a lifelong interest, soon forming Ludlows of Bolton and producing to order fine and coarse scale 0 gauge models built by John Ratcliffe. Some (all?) models were painted by Simon Greenwood. An obituary written by Kevin's son Robert appears in the August 2019 HRCA Journal (members only).
