Hornby Series

Percy and Play-Train Sets

The Hornby Percy tank loco was produced from 1965, the only 0 gauge loco to be produced in plastic, and the only loco introduced after the demise of the original Meccano Limited. Initial models were named Percy, and featured Percy's name and face, subsequent models were described as Play-Train, and lacked the name and face. Locos were available only as part of a set, with plastic track and two trucks, and were clockwork powered.
