Hirth Hobbies manufactured switches, or turnouts. They were high speed turnouts, known as 100 MPH turnouts or Century turnouts and whilst compatible with Lionel and similar tinplate track, were large radius. The high speed turnouts did not include built in throws, relying on under baseboard motors or third party switch throws.
