HAG-Modelleisenbahnen AG 0 Gauge

(St. Gallen , Switzerland)

The company was formed in 1944 by brothers Hugo and Alwin Gahler, their initials forming the company name, HAG. Alwin's son Werner ran the company from 1979, although his father remained active.

HAG produced 0 gauge models from inception, introducing H0 in 1954. Production of 0 gauge railways finally ceased in 1957. HAG are reported to have sold all the 0 scale tooling for scrap, in 1961.
