Bob Gale

(Horsham PA USA)

Bob Gale was a builder of locomotives who constructed large three rail models during the 1970s-80s, at a time when such locos were not available from Lionel or elsewhere. Gale used much modified Lionel bodies and mechanisms, coupled with parts from Tebolt, Walthers and others. The original Lionel bodies were cut into sections then joined with epoxy glue to form articulated locomotives, all of which would run on 072 track.
