ETS 0 Gauge

(Czech Republic)

Electric Train Systems (ETS) of Czechoslovakia was set up by Mr Gustav Taus, who still runs the company, and Mr Ludvik Losos, in 1991. Based in Prague, in what is now the Czech Republic, ETS manufacture 0 gauge tinplate trains, scale 1:45, for British, US and European markets in both two and three rail, AC and DC configurations, with or without electronic sound systems, with various styles of couplings (couplers) being available including US knuckle, UK Hornby drop link and German Marklin.

ETS have also manufactured for others including the early Marklin Maxi gauge 1 series, Ace Trains of London, Bassett Lowke and various commissions for UK suppliers such as WJ Vintage and Raylo.

The illustrations below show just a few of the models offered by ETS. Many more, including steam, diesel and electric locos, passenger and freight cars, together with track and accessories may be viewed (in English, Czech and German) at the ETS web site.

Mr Gustav Taus passed away April 2015. ETS continues under the ownership of Mr Taus's wife Barbara.
