Erka trains were manufactured in Brazil for a few years only, from 1948 until the early 1950s. Sets were electric, AC motored and couplings were Marklin style. There were two sets, a passenger set with loco and two passenger coaches, and a freight set with one open wagon and one tank wagon. Passenger cars bore the inscription Transamerica Express.
