Elettren was established in Italy immediately after WWII by Armando Ravasini, to produce high quality 0 gauge models, at a time when most manufacturers were switching production to H0. Elletren continues to this day, still owned and run by the Ravasini family, initially producing models in the very best pre war Marklin tradition, now long surpassed, the range includes locomotives, passenger cars and, to a lesser extent, freight wagons, with both finescale and traditional tinplate models available.
