Dunks Train Control no. 100 was a small (3 by 3 by 2.5 inches tall) box containing switches and resistors to prevent Lionel E-units (reversers) cycling whilst a loco was stopped for a short time, such as at a station. The unit was required to prevent power being completely shut down as, in that event, the reverser would have to be cycled through nuetral-reverse-neutral before moving forward again.
