0 Gauge Live Steam Caledonian 4-2-2 Stirling Single Loco No. 123 Made by Archangel Models

Understood to be one of only three built by Archangel, during the early 1970s.
A finely detailed model with an internally spirit-fired boiler, double-acting single cylinder, slip-eccentric reversing, displacement oiler, blower, regulator and tender mounted spirit and water tanks and hand-pump. Sprung buffers.

It is, however, in a somewhat distressed condition, especially the paintwork, which has suffered from long contact with oil and been crudely re-touched in places by a previous owner (see photos). The right-hand bogie splasher and left hand cab side have become unsoldered and the chimney and dome are later replacements. The water feed pump extension handle is missing (but could readily be replaced).

Included are the wooden storage box, detailed running instructions from Archangel and some correspondence with a previous owner (1977).
